If love is the recognition of oneself in another then perhaps we are mirrors of each other. Weaving together the selected stories of 5 individuals from 3 different countries, this film explores the universal experience of love by this definition. Each individual offers a unique perspective on the topics of love, loss, and self-reflection, as they share and recreate scenes from their past. Blurring the lines between fiction & reality, “Mirrors” explores the bounds between you and me, self and other, and ultimately probes the deeper questions of our existence: What are we here to teach each other? What parts of yourself do you see in me?
