Hunter’s background spans over a decade of producing and editing documentaries, indie features, TV series, and national commercials across multiple continents. With a BA from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television, plus an MA in Film Production from Met Film School Berlin, Hunter brings a strong creative vision and collaborative approach to every project.

Kelly, hailing from Whidbey Island, Washington, is a skilled DP on both land and sea, with extensive underwater filming experience and a drone operator’s license. His debut docu-series, Not By Chance: A Journey Between Shaper & Surfer, earned international recognition at Anglet, Florida Surf, Santa Barbara, and other major film festivals, winning “Best Surf Film” at SSFF Milano 2024. Having traveled the globe to capture stories in remote locations, Kelly brings a diverse knowledge of narrative building and episodic shooting.
